Always struggling to convey tomorrow's music today -with the confines of today’s instruments and instrumentalists- Graham Haynes is a brilliant futurist. ******** This sensational project (BROKEN SOUND BARRIER) Combines Kang's Asian-spirited, mysterious violin parts and melodies, Ismaily's obtuse, binary bass pulses, Sawka's backward drum'n'bass rhythms with Haynes’ own bold, noble statements. Haynes has put together something virtually indescribable –beauty in chaos, yet logical and reasoned in time. The mere fact that Haynes has gathered this grouping of musicians (away from their other obligations) is amazing in and of itself. These musicians are (individually) constantly touring with other acts, crisscrossing the globe, not sure where their schedules will allow them time to participate in projects of their own or those like this which they covet. Fortunately for San Francisco, they will all find themselves collected for one night only, at the Boom Boom Room on July 24th. WITNESS IT. THIS IS MAGIC! ******** Also Featuring: DJ JANAKA SELECTA (spinning World Fusion drum'nbass - of dharmaal S.F.)
