DJ Logic is an American turntablist active primarily in jazz and with jam bands. Kibler was born and raised in The Bronx. An early interest in hip hop led to his using the turntables, practicing often.

Eric McFadden is a guitar-playing virtuoso. He has toured the world both as a solo artist, as well as traveling with funk legend George Clinton (Parliament/Funkadelic), and rock legend Eric Burdon (The Animals). McFadden is a member of the new supergroup, TEN (, alongside Thomas Pridgen (Mars Volta) and Norwood Fisher (Fishbone). McFadden is also a member of the all-star band, Stockholm Syndrome, which also includes notable players such as Dave Schools (Widespread Panic), Jerry Joseph (Jack Mormons), Wally Ingram (Sheryl Crow) and Danny Louis (Govt Mule).
Eric McFadden has also collaborated on stage and/or in the studio with the regal likes of Bo Diddley, Keb Mo’, Living Colour, Joe Strummer (The Clash), Nels Cline (Wilco), Les Claypool (Primus), The Meters, Pat MacDonald (Timbuk3), Robert Walter, Bernie Worell (Talking Heads), Bonnie Rait, Bill Kreutzman (Grateful Dead), Ron Wood & Chuck Leavel (Rolling Stones), Pink, among others.

Jay Lane is an American drummer from the San Francisco Bay Area. He is currently a member of Primus, as well as Bob Weir's RatDog, Scaring the Children with Weir and Rob Wasserman, and the hip hop/jazz fusion group Alphabet Soup.

Pronounced with a long second “O,” the Los Angeles band Orgone is dedicated to heavy, raw, adrenaline-fueled funk and sweat-dripping soul. With a core rhythm section of close friends and self-taught musicians steeped in local DJ culture, Orgone has spent the last decade expanding their roster and evolving a sound rooted in old school respect but pulsing with the force of the new millennium. Orgone has become a staple on the festival circuit while gaining a reputation among fellow artists as one of the baddest go-to backing bands on the planet. Always evolving musically and cosmically, putting their own gritty takes on cuts by the Meters, Booker T. & the MGs, Grant Green and Funkadelic among others.

Victor Little’s bass contributions include recordings and performances with luminary artists Patti Austin, Billy Preston, Angela Bofill, James Carter, Charlie Musselwhite, Robert Walter's Brand New Slang and the legendary Booker T. Jones.

"Taut, coiled groove of the best funk, past and present.” -Seattle Stranger
"My new favorite Seattle band. Just awesome.” -Seattle Times

Masterfully mixing underground rock and party-fueling soul, Down North lifts up audiences that have been craving new soul sounds from the city that gave the world Wheedle’s Groove and Jimi Hendrix.

Down North features the bold and sensual talents of vocalist Anthony Briscoe, whose North Carolina- bred approach to making fans swoon has no equal in the Pacific Northwest. Raised on Michael Jackson and Sam Cooke, Anthony is as stylish and emotional as Prince in his vocal expressions. Versatile bassist Brandon Storms writes much of the music, tapping into his love for everything from Hendrix to James Jamerson in making tunes both infectious and substantial. Drum Off! award-winning
and crowd-amping Conrad Real and Arizona recruit Nick Quiller on guitar make the band an unusual and extremely welcome addition to the regional music scene. In addition, the band occasionally expands their lineup to integrate horns, percussionists, and backup vocalists to help deliver their dazzling grooves.

Anthony and Brandon met via Craigslist, both having searched for collaborators who wanted to write good time, high quality tunes. "I want to have a body of work... but it has to be high quality material," Brandon notes. Anthony agrees: "The people that play in this band are excellent at what they do and we’re all here to play music for people who have been craving fresh, warm, loving soul in the midst of a chilly indie scene."

Down North is poised for enduring success: they have been played on over 150 college radio stations, "Danger" was featured on MTV's The Real World, and they have thrilled audiences on both their home turf and across the country, including the Seattle's Rock and Roll Marathon, Fremont Fair, Oktoberfest, and the world-famous South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. The Danger EP was recorded at Orbit Audio, and is available for free on their website. The studio performances only scrape the surface of what they have to offer: as legendary radio DJ Bob Rivers said, "if you get a chance to see them, do so."
